Driveways
Interlock driveways built for daily vehicle weight, with front-yard parking rules confirmed with the City first.
Interlock driveways, walkways, patios, steps and retaining walls across Etobicoke, excavated and compacted for clay ground, tight lots and the rules Toronto applies to front yards and trees.

Etobicoke ground is mostly clay, with sandy pockets close to the lake. Clay holds water and heaves in a freeze-thaw winter, so the base under the stone matters more here than the stone itself. We excavate to full depth, compact granular in lifts and grade so water runs away from the house, whether the job is a short driveway in Mimico or a wide front entrance in Princess Gardens.
Lots in The Kingsway, Humber Valley Village and Sunnylea often back onto the Humber or Mimico Creek ravines and sit under mature trees. Ravine-protected lots need City review before grading or hardscape, and Toronto's private tree by-law protects larger trees, so work near one may need a permit and an arborist report. We check both before quoting and design patios and walkways to avoid major roots rather than cut through them.
In Alderwood, Long Branch and New Toronto the constraint is space. Narrow lots and shared driveways leave little room for a skid steer or a pallet of stone, so we plan access and staging street by street, arrange a City parking permit where it is needed and keep the mutual drive open for the neighbour. Toronto also restricts new front-yard parking pads, so we confirm what is allowed before designing a driveway widening.

Front paths, rear patios and side-yard walkways laid out around existing trees in Kingsway and Humber Valley gardens.
Walls that hold grade on ravine-edge and sloped lots along the Humber and Etobicoke Creek, with drainage behind them.
Lifting and resetting sunken or heaved sections on older Markland Wood and Richview driveways.

Soil, trees, access and City rules are settled before the first pallet is ordered.

Phone, WhatsApp or the form. Say whether it is a driveway, patio or wall, and whether the lot backs onto a ravine or has large trees.

We come from Erin Mills, measure, look at drainage, tree roots and equipment access, and flag any City review needed.

One price covering excavation, base, stone, joints and grading, with a layout drawn around the trees and the lot.

Excavated, compacted, laid and jointed, the site cleaned and the finished surface checked with you.

Toronto restricts new front-yard parking pads. We confirm what is allowed for your street before designing a driveway, rather than building something that has to come out.
Ravine-protected lots need City review before grading or hardscape. We check the lot and tell you what is possible before quoting.
Toronto's private tree by-law protects larger trees. Work near one may need a permit and an arborist report, and we route the walkway to avoid major roots.
We plan access at the site visit, use smaller machines where a side yard is tight and stage stone on the street under a City permit when needed.
