Premium flooring installation replacing worn subfloor with engineered hardwood.

The existing floor squeaked across the main level and dipped noticeably near the hallway. Laying new hardwood over it would have locked in the unevenness, so the subfloor had to be levelled and refastened before a single plank went down.
Every stage was agreed in writing before work started, so the homeowner always knew what happened next.

A written scope, material list, schedule and fixed price — approved before demolition began.

Our trades worked in sequence under one project lead, with the site cleaned at the end of each day.

We reviewed the finished work together and closed out every deficiency before final invoicing.
Twelve hundred square feet of engineered hardwood over a subfloor that no longer moves. Every loose fastener was driven back into the joists and the level variance was brought inside the manufacturer's tolerance before the first plank went down.
The squeak that ran across the main level is gone, and the transitions and baselines now sit at a consistent height throughout.
Finished work

Sometimes, but not when the subfloor moves or is out of level. Here we removed the old floor, refastened the subfloor and levelled it first.
Engineered hardwood is walkable the same day. We reinstalled baseboards and moved furniture back on the final day.
Engineered planks are more stable across seasonal humidity swings, which matters on a main level with a basement below.
